World No.1 Scheffler will arrive at Adare Manor as the undisputed current best player in the game, following a sensational run of form in 2022 that has seen him capture four titles since mid-February. The Phoenix Open, Arnold Palmer and WGC Match Play were just a taste of things to come at Augusta National, as Scheffler put to bed the notion that players need a number of years to really find their feet around the track, landing the Green Jacket in only his third start at The Masters.
A missed cut at the PGA Championship hasn’t stalled Scheffler’s momentum, as he finished second to Sam Burns at the recent Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial. What else does this year hold for the New Jersey native? We can’t wait to find out.
